When was the last time you felt truly seen?
Not for what you do. Not for what you post. But for who you actually are.
You know that weird feeling when you close all the apps and suddenly don’t know what to do with yourself? Like there’s a quiet hollowness underneath all the connecting.
That isn't a lack of discipline. And it doesn't mean you're broken.
That’s your Inner GPS trying to break through the noise.
The Truth Detector
Growing up in a world that’s always curated, filtered, and performative taught you something no other generation really understands: You can smell bullshit from a mile away.
You didn’t lose your inner knowing. You’re just wrestling with the fake. You are learning to separate your own signal from a world designed to hijack your attention.
That is what Hex Experiment is about. Not fixing you. Not teaching you. But giving you a space to train that muscle.
What is Hex Experiment?
Hex Experiment is an ongoing practice in reconnection.
It is not another course. It is not more content to scroll past.
It is a weekly ritual to train your Inner GPS. In a way that’s safe, light, and measurable.
How It Works (The Hex Box)
Each week, you receive one simple challenge in your inbox:
- The Code: You get a "mystery coordinate" (e.g., 3F19A7). This corresponds to a real object sealed inside the Hex Box.
- The Focus: You get a simple prompt to focus your attention. No hints, no images. Just you and the code.
- The Vote: You submit what you think is inside.
- The Reveal: The box opens. You see the answer.
You re-read your notes and think: "Wait… I actually wrote this down. I couldn’t have known that."
That moment gives you evidence that your Inner GPS works. Not flawlessly, but undeniably.
Why Do This? (The Value)
You can’t rebuild connection by just reading about it. You have to do it.
- Reconnect with Yourself: Learn to feel the difference between your own inner voice and everything screaming for your attention.
- Reconnect with Others: Read the community results and realize: "I felt this too." You aren't the "weird one." You are part of a group holding pieces of the same unseen puzzle.
- Reconnect with 'Something Deeper': See that the quiet, sensitive side of you isn’t a weakness—it’s an antenna.
Who is this for?
It's for everyone.
Whether you're a firm believer or a healthy skeptic, both perspectives make this experiment better. Skeptics keep us honest. Believers keep us curious.
You don’t need a new identity. You just need a bit of curiosity and five minutes of attention.
About the Host
I'm Robbert van der Zee.
I’m not an all‑knowing expert or a guru. I’m the host of the experiment.
I believe that we are all on the front line of a struggle with noise and distraction. And I believe the only way out is through—by learning to trust what we feel is real.
I'm building this space so we can learn together. Box by box. Signal by signal.
